Most of us are living inside a scene written years ago.
I know my own burnout by its smallest flag: one new notification, and the feeling of what now.
Some weeks I can carry the same load and feel buoyant. Other weeks, one little notification lands like one more thing. Same life. Different nervous system.
But by the time that flag gets to me, quieter things have already slipped. Healthy routines go first — the newest ones, the ones that hadn't grown roots yet. Quiet enough that the drive to keep going papers right over it.
Then sleep gets busy: one bathroom break at 2 am, and the overthinking manager is already at her desk.
And underneath it all, the quiet math my brain runs about the places I'm not showing up the way I used to. Silent. Polite. Adding up.
Here's the part that took me longest to learn: knowing all of this wasn't the same as seeing it. The flags only work when you can see them from a small, safe distance — while they're still small.
That's what LifeTuneToon is for.
If any of this feels like a room you've stood in, come look around.
